Այստղ կա՞ն մարդիկ ովքեր հավատում են որ Հայաստանում էլ կարելի է հաջողության հասնել: Ովքեր չեն մտածում որ «երկիրը երկիր չի» ու պետք ա ամեն կերպ գնալ: Ովքեր՝ լինելով զարգացած երկրներում, չեն գայթակղվել ու որոշել մնալ, այլ մտածել են ոնց անել որ մեր երկիրն ել այդպիսին դառնա: Ովքեր սրտանց ուրախանում են երբ տեսնում են Հայկական ընկերություններ միջազգային շուկաներում: Ովքեր ուզում են իրենց գործը սկսել ու հենց Հայաստանում:

Ուզում եմ ձեր հետ ընկրություն անել:

Teamwork

Any successful product has a great team behind it. It’s simply impossible to create a great product without a great team. So what is a great team?

A group of like-minded but diversely skilled people, one with expressed leadership characteristics. Let’s understand what does this mean and why I think so.

Diversely skilled is natural. Because a software product is not just about programming. Let’s  focus on software business. Even if it was only programming there are many areas that one simply can’t be good in all. Therefore only people with mixed skills can cover the whole range of technologies and skills required for successful implementation of the product. And ideally some of them must be good programmers and some good business negotiators.

Looking at the things from different points and having different opinions is useful. However, people that think differently may not be able to get agree on fundamental issues. There is no guarantee that they can converge and live happy with the chosen solution.  Like-minded people, from the other hand, have the same understanding of the problem and they see similar solutions. And, even that may not be the best solution, they can get it done. Only in this case they can build something together.

Leadership is all about making sure the team operates normally and as productive as possible. The leader is that locomotive that pulls it out to normal when team starts to loose motivation. The leader is that glue that keeps it solid when the team is about to fall apart. Without a leader team does not exist, it’s just a group of people.

I came to this while thought what it takes to put together a great team.

My dream

I have a dream. Dream of seeing Armenia different. Full of intelligent, kind and prosperous people. Many of them are in software and IT business. The computer technology is the main driving force of Armenia’s dynamically developing economy. Armenia has more software startups than any other country in near and far region. And many of them become big names – worldwide known companies.

Wake up. Is this really impossible? I don’t think so. With current state of things it’s not that hard to make this happen. Internet gives us the chance. So many possibilities… The only thing we need is the passion. We need to think freely. We need to believe. We need to hope. Yes, we can do it. We can spend our free time and make the next big thing. We need to make the startup founding an everyday activity. Got an idea? Spend some time on it today!

I’ll try and analyze every aspect of startup founding in this blog.
